David’s story
It took two years of symptoms before David finally received a diagnosis of amyloidosis, a serious blood disorder.
He endured multiple medical procedures, saw different specialists and was put on medication from a psychiatrist before getting a correct diagnosis. “It was an enormous relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” recalls David (pictured, with his family). It meant he could finally begin treatment and care for his blood disorder.
