Assessment and referral services
Just as you are an individual, so is your experience of living with blood cancer. While we provide a range of information, education and support services, we are also able to help you identify your particular needs and direct or refer you to an external or community-based service provider.
About our assessment and referral services
One of our Blood Cancer Support Coordinators will work with you to help identify the areas where you may need most support. This can cover anything from managing medication to dealing with fatigue, relationship matters, mental health or finances.
We have established relationships across the cancer care network, including health professionals (such as haematologists and allied health professionals), treating centres and hospitals, other not for profit organisations, and specialist assistance and support services (such as Centrelink).
This means that once we have identified your needs, we can connect you with the help and support you need, when you need it.
