The Clem Jones – Sunland Blood Cancer Centre is built on five acres of land with beautifully established trees and gardens providing the perfect environment for relaxation and recovery. This state of the art complex includes 30 two and three bedroom, fully-furnished units with:

  • landscaped courtyards
  • a patient support centre
  • a games and activity room
  • patient counselling rooms
  • a common room
  • gymnasium with shower facilities.

The grounds of the facility include:

  • a barbeque and recreational area
  • landscaped gardens
  • children’s playground
  • covered car park area for centre residents and visitors.

History

The Clem Jones – Sunland Blood Cancer Centre was opened in 2007, the third patient accommodation and support centre in Brisbane. The Clem Jones Group, the Sunland Group and the Queensland Freemasons together committed $5.7 million towards the $8.5 million 30-unit facility.

The local Brisbane City Council bus stop is located in Troughton Road (cnr Middle Street). There is also a taxi rank in Troughton Road.
