Are you the next volunteer to join the Newcastle office?
Publish Date: 20/7/2017
The Leukaemia Foundation Newcastle office is now actively recruiting an admin volunteer.
The Leukaemia Foundation provides vital support services to people with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders. We rely on a team of dedicated volunteers to run these services smoothly.
We are on the hunt for an administration volunteer with general computer skills to support the Newcastle office. As an office all-rounder, the administration volunteer will assist with administrative duties across the transport, accommodation and fundraising teams. This role would suit someone who has good communication and interpersonal skills. Duties include taking transport bookings and entering them into the computer database, transport scheduling, mail outs for fundraising events as well as general administrative duties such as filing and answering phones. The administration volunteer will be in contact with people from all walks of life so a patient and understanding approach is essential.
